That is true! I actually spoke to one of my mod candidates and he’s willing to upkeep this blog whilst helping out with the potential DV blog.

So the DV blog will be its own entity and this blog will be maintained by a mod on the new blog. Hope that’s alright with everyone :)

I know this blog has been shadowbanned due to the NSFW/Pedo posts and I’m happy for it to stay that way - it just means it’s less of a spectacle and doesn’t clog up the tag as much.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realise I singlehandedly created all of the “drama” surrounding pedophiles who have been abusing their victims for years now. Is this pluto or something? That’s the only person I can think of who has this much of a personal vendetta against this blog for whatever reason.

I report on incidents within the community and give voice to its members. I don’t “start” drama that’s already right under your noses.

Why can't you just make a new blog? No one is saying you have to keep working on this blog, but it would be better to not just suddenly change it to a dv blog. Not everyone is on dv and the people who are and do find this, wont want to see goat stuff when they go through it

I don’t think you understand that nobody cares about goatlings and this blog will not operate as a goatlings drama blog unless someone else steps in to run it. I’m not sure how else to clearly communicate that.

Sure, not everyone is on DV, good for them. You can’t specifically cater to everyone all the time. Goatlings is dead, dappervolk is not. It’s that simple for me right now. Besides, it’s just an idea. It’s not as if it will be a dappervolk/goatlings blog simultaneously - it would be clear to any reader where the dappervolk content began and the old content ended.

Mustn’t have any good users then. Some people tend to use the same username on different sites, especially if it’s a nice username or part of their social identity.

I would say at least half of the users who migrated from goatlings are using the same usernames on dappervolk. Most of the ones who aren’t either had a bad name on goatlings, or their “brand” was already spoken for on dappervolk.

Can you not change this blog to a dv blog. Like, can you just make a different one. Not everyone goes on dv but they still wanna follow Goatlings drama

If any of the mod candidates want to continue this as a goatlings blog I’m all for that. Otherwise, those who I have scouted out have expressed interest in assisting me with the DV blog.

If you’re referring to Coffee and Sugar, they haven’t been on the blog for months, so I’m not sure why you’re asking now.

As for the people who I’ve been discussing giving mod permissions - we are in contact as I’m unsure whether to change this blog to a DV blog or keep it as goatlings and simply allow them to take over completely.
