Interesting article about Nintendo's Wii U, and how this particular console did not fare well with fans of past systems. Ā It has been acknowledged that the Wii U was a failure, but it should not have been. The author of this article, Paul Tassi, is not blaming the system itself, but the software. Stating that to properly play the Wii U's controller successfully, he had to watch how-to videos on YouTube. While he says it is unfair to blame consumers for the Wii U's failure, and that Nintendo is at fault, he still believes in this company very much. Tassi āwant[s] Nintendo to succeed, but the NX, whatever it ends up being, is going to have to work hard the trust back of casual players who ended up regretting their Wii purchase and hardcore players who have felt led down by the Wii Uā.
I've never once beenĀ embarrassed that children have supported Nintendo. I'm proud of it. That's because children judge products based on instinct.

The key here are two little words: the word 'or' and the word 'and'. Nintendo is not an or company, with games devoted to just this group or that group. We're an and company, with games for this group and that group and for groups that don't even call themselves gamers yet.
