Mark, seeing that Jake seems to enjoy it, he asks “What’s did you do to get these glutes so big and soft” Jake replies “I don’t really know I guess my genetics are good in that area, maybe too good” Mark replies “They’re perfect, like you.”

The sun starts to set and Mark asks Jake for his number, and they both go home.

The next day:

Jake wakes up to a text from Mark

Mark: Good morning, wanna hang today?

Jake: Sure, where do you want to go?

Jake gets up and ready for the day, he eats breakfast and doesn’t look at his phone for a while. Unfortunately for Jake, it would’ve been best if he would’ve looked at his phone, because a message from a group chat spiraled into a long conversation. Jake finally picks up his phone only to see the group chat blowing up.

Samantha: Picture Sent

Weston: That picture of Mark and Jake cannot be real

Samantha: It is, someone sent it to me yesterday they were at the beach, and by the looks of it had a lot of fun…

Mark: …

Cody: Jake, have anything you’d like to say?

Cody: That’s pretty weird to be doing that in public, and I thought that Jake was straight, didn’t he have a girlfriend last year!??

Samantha: Yeah it was Kristy, she was crazy though, no wonder he didn’t want to stay with her but this is entirely new.

Mark: Guys it was nothing, accidentally touched him in a really awkward spot. You guys take everything too far.

Samantha: Jake seemed pretty happy for you actually touching his ass.

Mark: He was pretty unbothered by it, I don’t know what you’re seeing.

Henry: Oh my gosh, Mark are you serious??? You shouldn’t touch people like that.

Samantha: Why do you care so much, Henry?

Henry: It’s extremely weird to touch a person like that of the same gender when the other person is straight.

Lea: Oh my god, Mark and Jake are dating???

Mark: We’re not dating, for the last time I accidentally touched him there, no need to take as far as dating.

Henry: I’ve known Jake since middle school, he’d never do anything like that.

Isabell: What’s going on?

Samantha: Look at the picture I sent.

Lea: I think they’re lovers or something, that’s no accident.

Isabell: No way, that’s not possible. Jake is the straightest guy I know.

Jake picks up his phone, sees Isabell’s message first and replies.

Jake: What’s going on here?

Henry: They think you’re gay and dating Mark, no way that’s true, right Jake?

Jake: Why would we be dating?

Lea: The picture, he was touching your ass and you seemed pleased by it.

Jake: That never happened.

Mark: Jake, there’s a picture. Samantha sent it.

Samantha: Finally Jake, what took so long?

Jake: I was getting ready…

Samantha: Ready for what?

Lea: Oh y’all going on a date that’s why you’re getting ready!!!

Henry: For the last time they aren’t dating…

Jake: I was getting ready for the day, why would I be getting ready for a date at this hour?

Samantha: Are you guys really not dating?

Mark: We aren’t.

Jake: I’m not gay.

Henry: I told you guys.

Isabell: Whatever you say, the evidence is there.

The group chat stops, Mark texts Jake.

Mark: Shit how did they find that picture, and why is this happening so fast?

Jake: What are we supposed to do? I bet it’s going all around campus that we’re dating.

Mark: Gosh…

Jake: Maybe it’s best we don’t talk in classes, maybe it’ll die out.

Mark: Hopefully

The day goes on, rumors already spread all around about Mark and Jake.

In one of their classes together they accidentally bumped into each other and people started to whisper. All class they were staring at each other across the room. Not many people noticed that. After their classes were done they went to go get ice cream. They go to a place that’s not so popular with other students. Mark says “So…” Jake replies “Yeah?” Mark “Are we dating?” Jake “that depends, do you want us to be dating? Mark replies “Well… of course I do…” Jake says “Good, but how do you feel about people knowing?” Mark “It’s too early, they’d go too crazy with all the rumors going around” They talk, and bond together. They end the day together in bed, sleeping, for a moment they forget the rumors.

Jake actually dated many girls in the past, but one he saw Mark it’s like a flip switched in his brain. He instantly got nervous around Mark and it was painfully obvious. Mark wasn’t really close with Jake, they had a few classes together but never really spoke. Mark asked him about sports, but after the third time of Jake looking at Mark up and down, Mark sensed something. Jake doesn’t really know how to process all the emotions he’s feeling, but he try’s to carry the conversation on and asks Mark “You got a gf?” Mark replies “No, not really into that stuff” Jake paused for a moment, he thought *what dose he mean not into that stuff* after a long pause Jake says “Are you like focused on academics?” Mark looks at Jake and says “I guess you can put it that way” After that Mark stopped the conversation and walked to the railing. Jake kept staring at Mark, but what Jake didn’t know was that Mark was looking back several times and noticed. Mark felt the same way about Jake, but he’s felt that way with Jake since they had their first class together last year. Eventually Mark goes back over to Jake and says, “You do actually know what I ment when I said not into that stuff, right?” Jake paused…

Then Mark says “I’ve never told anyone this before but I don’t think dating girls interests me” Jake not knowing what to say, Mark says “I guess guys just seem more interesting to me” Jake looks at Mark and says “Why are you telling me this, I barley know you”
