The Three Fates (or Moirai) in St. Stephen's Green is Ireland's best known Victorian public park. Re-opened by Lord Ardilaun in 1880 for the citizens of Dublin. Stephan is traditionally thought to be the Protomartyr of Christianity. He was stoned to death with his martyrdom witnessed by Saul (later Paul) of Tarsus.
