The Incident that split Sailor and Naut in half surprisingly wasn't even Sailor's fault, he was just there at the wrong time

Naut had a boyfriend, a very clingy one at that and one she also wasn't supposed to have. He would sneak onto the dock while she was working to go see her, and eventually she had enough of his bullshit when he tried to coerce her into having sex with him. She says "No, I'm at work, you risk my job enough by coming here, I'm not doing that." and he starts spewing off different tactics "Why don't you love me?", "I thought you'd want this", etc. And it eventually arises into an argument then the argument turns physical unntiilll Naut basically throws her boyfriend into the water and watches him drown.

Sailor pops around the corner soon after, "Hey, I heard some commotion, is everything okay?" and Naut, being as terrified as she is, grabs Sailor by his collar and threats to kill him mercilessly if he ever tells anyone what happened (He doesn't even know what happened here, all he sees is the dead body in the water). He agrees to keep his mouth shut and runs off after.

Later that day, Naut comes knocking on Sailor's door, apologizes and explains what happened in the nicest way she can. Sailor barely registers any of it because he's now terrified of her. They end up spending the night together.
