Damn my world is imploding
Wow. Talk about attention to detail.

I will probably reblog this every time I see it on my dash because itâs absolutely stunning
This is literally insane. How did you have the patience. Tell me your secrets oâ art god.
Two years since top surgery. Three years HRT.
But life has been so unrelenting. Work. Family. Chosen family. Blood family. A pandemic. A terminal illness. Forgetting constantly to take my HRT regularly. Iâm so exhausted, and I wish I could just completely disconnect for a good minute without upsetting the people who want to support me.
But again, I am still surviving and pushing through. Iâm really hoping for the day when it wonât feel like a constant uphill battle.
Iâve found myself wondering âWhere are the trans people of color?â a million times.
In my life, Iâm often the only person of color in a room of trans people. Iâve noticed it is harder to find pictures and reviews of products (like packers, skin tone binders, or breastforms) in the non-white skin tones. I see fewer pictures of POC post-surgery, and fewer people of color documenting their changes on HRT. Selfies of trans people, binary or non-binary, tend to skew towards the white and AFAB side. Hopefully, this blog can provide a sense of community and inclusion for all trans people of color.Â
This blog is a place where we can answer that question. Where are the trans people of color? Weâre right here! Weâre talking about how our day went, about our families, about coming out, about our pets, about our transitions, about our ups and downs. We are here. We exist. This is a new blog for TPOC (trans people of color) to submit selfies of themselves and other content!
Anyone and everyone is allowed to follow us, all support is welcome, but only TPOC can send selfies/content.
Please reblog and spread the word!

As protests against injustice in legal system, discrimination, police brutality spread through the US, it is necessary to educate yourself about these issues.Â

A bird explaining to a hedgehog crossing so it doesnât die.
!!! ok but thatâs legitimately what itâs doing!! Thatâs a corvid right there (looks like a hooded crow, to be precise), which means itâs intelligent enough to recognize, a) cars are dangerous and streets should be treated with a certain degree of caution, b) this carâs slowing down for themâcars do that sometimesâwhich means theyâre not in imminent danger, so it doesnât have to fly away just yet, c) that hedgehogâs still gonna get killed if it doesnât MOVE, FAST (cars can change speed very quickly and the hedgehogâs still in the way), and almost certainly also d) if the bird does nothing it gets a free lunch.
Yâall, YâALL. This bird is consciously deciding to put itself in danger in order to save the life of a very stupid creature. A creature which, if the bird did nothing, could be free food.Â
i canât - look if you follow me you know I have a thing for corvids, but this is - like!!! People are always saying âah yes they have sub-human intelligence and donât consider anything that isnât immediately necessary for their own survival/pleasure,â but! Whether or not it can do philosophy, this crow is clearly demonstrating compassion. Even if itâs just the kind of compassion a toddler shows to a snail, a social creature that instinctively recognizes the potential for emotion in other beings, thatâs still huge and cool and important and corvids!!! are! neat!!!Â
