Well, we all know that Barbie and Ken DIDN'T kiss under the mistletoe in Go Team Roberts episode Dreamhouse Holidays...but still, I really wish to know what happened here, immediately after this...
We can see how they looked at the mistletoe, blushed, shyly looked at each other, and then looked away!!!! What happened right after this???
Not to spoil the spirit, but it's highly probable that they felt awkward, and just withdrew themselves from that state and went to celebrate the festival with the rest of the family!!!!!
Another possibility is that they felt awkward, chuckled, made some shy gestures like putting one hand behind the head or moving it close to the ear or along the hair, or turning away!!!! And then they forcefully went back to normal!!!!
Or maybe just after this another family member arrived to welcome Ken and insisted that he, Chelsea and Barbie should join them for the celebrations, thus causing an interruption!!!!
Or maybe Chelsea got distracted by something (like we saw in the 2021 Christmas Cookie Taste Off vlog) and left the site, which caused Barbie and Ken to snap out of their infatuated state!!!
Or maybe Barbie awkwardly exclaimed to Chelsea, and then broke into a shy laughter along with Ken!!!
It's pretty unlikely, but it is possible that for some time the two kept staring at each other, or kept glancing and pulling away, or looked down to avoid an eye contact, but deep down they were actually lost in one another!!!!! I wish this is the thing that actually happened, or something even better (in terms of Karbie) than this if possible!!!! After all, we can expect something great to have happened here because in the end of the episode's vlog Barbie asked if the viewers were wondering what had happened with her and Ken and the mistletoe, and she answered by saying that the best presents were "worth waiting for"...so yes, we can expect that something sweet and memorable did happen!!!! Also, it is to be noted that Chelsea was also present there...she was the one who brought the mistletoe there and held it with the help of the fishing rod...but Barbie didn't mention Chelsea in the vlog...she simply said "what happened with me and Ken and the mistletoe"...which implies that maybe SOMEthing happened!!!! Not something very romantic, but some little, cute moment, which they kept close to their heart henceforth!!!!! Another logic here is that we could clearly see that Barbie and Ken's feelings for one another were no longer platonic in the movies, shows and vlogs that followed...I mean, even before this episode, there had been romantic instances, but they were somewhat minor, and till that time their friendship overpowered their crush and further feelings towards each other, that's why in most of the episodes they treated each other as BFFs, and felt beyond that in only a few episodes like Time Will Tell, Barbie's Dance Dilemma, The Curse of the Miner's Ghost, etc., and in certain scenes from other episodes and vlogs!! It was only since this episode that both of them (especially Ken) finally accepted that they had feelings beyond friendship (Barbie didn't accept it openly, but it was clearly visible that she did it in her heart, but resisted from admitting it...her feelings did transform, but she hesitated to show them)...it was only after this episode that the romantic angle between Barbie and Ken gathered pace and then progressed with time (and is still progressing with a lot more progress to come...) So we can say that this episode laid the foundation for Ken and Barbie's relationship turning into a romantic one and crossing the stage of friendship!!!! After this, Ken was openly showing how he felt (except in front of Barbie...well, he did show his feelings all the time, he just couldn't confess...)!!!
I know...the animators never showed us what happened after this particular scene...but I understand that sometimes it's just difficult to add anything to such magical scenes....because logically, the way that episode ended was the best way to end the episode!!!! Yes, it did instill curiosity into the audience's minds and hearts, and turned out to be disappointing to some fans since there was no conclusion or continuation...but still, if we keep our emotions aside, wasn't it the most magical and romantic and feel-good and intriguing ending?????😍...it was, according to me!!!! Also, maybe, sometimes it is difficult to come up with a storyline or a scene that could fit in well and do justice to the scene without spoiling its charm or turning it down!!!! So some scenes are better left the way they are....so if these were the cases, it's good that the animators left it that way!!!! I have no complaints or issues with this...but I really wish to know what happened here!!!!!!!! I have quite a few headcanons, and I guess most of the fans too have them...but there's this desire within, to watch or know how things actually took place!!!!
Let's suppose nothing happened at that point of time...I have no intention of spoiling a Karbie shipper's spirit, but I'm just analyzing a scenario...even if nothing happened, the two surely developed strong feelings for each other since then, so even if they didn't do anything over there, they must have reflected upon what feelings they went through while they stood under the mistletoe, and must've also wondered why Chelsea brought the mistletoe as a present to both of them, blatantly hinting that she saw a couple in them...so what made her feel so?? Such thoughts must have come to their minds after Christmas, when they sat alone, or maybe when they went to the bed..or something like that!!
Or maybe when Ken left Barbie's house, their emotions were slightly up in the air, maybe they were rejoiced to recall the mistletoe scene!!!! Maybe Ken was thinking all about it as he walked home, and also after getting back home!!!
Well, introspection is something that happened, one hundred percent!!! (Most probably while they were away from each other) So I eagerly wish to know how their spirits soared while they were thinking of how the presents they received from each other became their most valuable possessions, what effect the mistletoe event had on their mutual feelings, and how they looked at each other from that point on...
So I'm glad that this episode happened!!!! There are many mysteries associated with this episode which I wish to see unlocked...keeping in mind that this episode is QUITE old now and tons of incidents have happened after this, it's far from possible that we're ever going to see a flashback of what actually happened back then!!! But if ever it is possible, I'd be more than elated!!!!
