Bold documentary filmmaking: LEVIATHAN. Would love to make a project like this sometime.

THE GATEKEEPERS is outstanding. I hope it finds a big audience.

Hugely promising trailer for the new doc 12 O'CLOCK BOYS. Will premiere at SXSW this year. Directed by Lofty Nathan. Urban dirt-bike gang in Baltimore.  

"Now the people must be punished!" --- great trailer for the new KOCH documentary. Directed by Neil Barsky. Looks like a great portrait of the man who died yesterday, at age 88. 

Our short doc TWO'S A CROWD will screen alongside this feature doc, CANVASMAN, at Frontier, in Brunswick, Maine, on Feb. 10, 2013, at 3 p.m. Part of the Maine Film Screening Series, presented by the Maine Film & Video Association. 

Sundance-winning ("World Documentary") A RIVER CHANGES COURSE. Directed and shot by Kalyanee Mam (who also shot and associate produced INSIDE JOB.)

The big winner at Sundance. BLOOD BROTHER takes both grand jury prize and audience award for US documentary. 

DIRTY WARS, directed by Richard Rowley, is getting a lot of high praise at Sundance.

In light of the news about Manti Te'o (great reporting by Deadspin), time to revisit the CATFISH trailer. I liked the film a lot, but the trailer is outstanding.
