God is one, and whichever god we worship we worship the one - as is taught in the Bhagavad Gita (chapter 9, verse 23).

The important thing to remember is that we are spirit beings who do not belong in this material world, which is a place of impermanence and suffering. We belong in the spiritual realm serving God (Krishna/Vishnu).

We best serve God by singing his praises, which we can start doing right now by chanting the Hare Krishna mahamantra.

Our purpose is to serve God, best done by chanting but also done by fulfilling our god given duties.

There is much going on in the world but very little of it is relevant. That’s why renunciation (sanyas) is so important in spirituality. The yogi has to let go of many things.
