REASONS Philip is a Dick(tm)

Didn't tell Eloise that he had children (plural) in ANY LETTER

Acts like a spoiled brat to her when she shows up (sure it was a dick move by her but still)

Then goes straight into HORNY TOWN and doesn't leave like ever

Keeps on being a jerk during their "getting engaged" phase

Keeps ignoring his children

Thinks "Oh I'm such a good dad bc I got them a great mother" sir??? Not her responsibility

Refuses to listen to her and have a good conversation with her, instead trying to be horny and dismiss her

And is angry bc he hasn't had enough sex??? Get over yourself

gets huffy when she goes to visit Benedict and goes there with ANGER

Act a little bit better but right then when you start to like him he turns around and BLAMES HIS DEPRESSED EX WIFE FOR HER DEPRESSION??? AND TELLS ELOISE SHE CAN'T EXPRESS HER CONCERNS BECAUSE BEING WITH HIS DEPRESSED WIFE WAS SO FUCKING HARD FOR HIM

Not to mention they both are horrible about that but w/e

Disclaimer, I'm writing this while I'm watching the last episode of season two, but I doubt my opinions will change.

I LOVED season one of Centaurworld. Sure it wasn't perfect, but it was a solid first season to what I hoped would be a great show. The songs were brilliant, perfect mix of fun and emotional, and the story progressed good until one of the most genuinely scary villains I'd ever seen entered.

Then season two came. I couldn't really put my finger on it, but it felt off.

The songs were not good. The "You're okay" from season one felt like a cheap knock off, and the new original songs were just half as catchy as their counterparts in the first season. I don't even remember any of them. All of the versions of the friendship song are annoying and boring to listen to all the time. And the good original songs are barely songs, just jingles.

The story felt rushed and disconnected. It feels like the writers had too many ideas and pushed them together without finding any glue to make it a connected story.

The best parts are the human stories. And they feel chopped off and too short. They bring down the Centaur parts too. No one has a real arc, they're all rushed and too short.

You can really tell that this season is shorter, when they'd really need another four or five or even another season to set up the ending.

Now they had a first season with the best villain I've seen in a while, and they reduced him to slapstick jokes and rushed plotlines.

I honestly doubt they'll get a third season, and I'd rather have taken two seasons with a bad ending than a rushed but finished second season.

I don't know if the faul lies with Netflix or the produers, but it was bad. I really wish it would've been more streamlined.

Even if the plot was the same, I'd be fine if they just had good songs.
