Happy Holidays everybody!

In honor of this chilly season (for all of you on the Northern Hemisphere), I have chosen Jack Frost as the honorary Hot Guy of the Month. "But, Raven, he's a fictional charact-" I don't care. When I first saw this movie and this charismatic, sarcastic man walked on screen, little me was HOOKED. He is right up there with Flynn Rider for childhood crushes that maybe had too much of an impact on the men I go for in my adulthood, but Flynn Rider will not see this unholy series.

First question, why did they make a fictional character in a kids movie so hot? Why was he sauntering around making quips and leaning on that little stick like he knew he was hot? Was that necessary to the plot? Well, it was necessary to my plot so God bless the creators of Rise of the Guardians. You guys are lucky I didn't pick the easter bunny for this installment. Can I also be vulnerable with you guys in saying I was, in fact, in the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons fandom? Can I find fellowship in that admittance? It has been a while since I've watched the movie, but you can't have Chris Pine play a hot, misunderstood bad boy and not expect it to burrow within my psyche and infect my brain matter. one of the hottest things about him is that he is just so cool. He is the coolest guy in the movie and he knows it. I genuinely didn't know if I wanted to be him or to be with him. Not to have you guys be visited by the Hotness of Christmas Past, but I thought he was the perfect choice for the winter season. Just like they had a meeting with all the women on the Tangled production team to come up with the hottest guy they could for Flynn Rider, I think there was a secret angel looking out for me in this movies production. I am going to ignore the fact that King Nonchalant (SPOILER ALERT) died in the olden days and yet decided a sweater and cargo pants was the best look for him. It was, but I'd love to know his thought process. He was the It Boy of my household, an early 2000s Timothee Chalamet, if you will.

Please let me know your childhood crushes, Diego from Ice Age will not be judged.

(Hey guuuuuys, I didn't post the November Hot Guy of the Month, my deepest apologies, so here it is now!)

I can explain...

I know Jschlatt isn't technically a celebrity but I feel like he is in the public sphere enough that I can get some of you on my side. It didn't feel right to him or his public persona to post a hot gif of him, so here you guys go, enjoy. I think that's one of my favorite things about him; his ability to skate the line between serious and disinterested and intensely unserious from moment to moment. I think we've already established that I do not have a type, but I think Jschlatt would maybe be the type I am most physically drawn to. I like how tall he is, and he has a wide frame similar to Adam Driver (shoutout to a previous installment of Hot Guy of the Month), but most of all I enjoy his, please don't hurt me, mutton chops. I, not to get analytical about a more than questionable facial hair choice, enjoy them for what the represent. I find it very attractive that he is able to do what he wants with his facial hair, his fashion, and his hair (yeah, I remember the man bun faze), and not care about what others think of him. He has a confidence to him that I think is not only extremely hot but also admirable. He does have a more crude persona on his personal channels, especially his now ended podcast Chuckle Sandwich with fellow Youtuber Ted Nivison, and Tucker, but he has a much more gentle demeanor on his channel Sleep Deprived. I had known of him for quite some time, but his hard personality was something i just couldn't latch onto until I saw how he acted with Astro, and how soft he is with her, and how much calmer he is, for the most part, with his fellow Sleep Deprived hosts. Special shoutout to his glasses, whoever the optometrist was that sold him those glasses, I hope their pillow is cold on both sides and they find five dollars in their pocket. And, yes, I do stream his Christmas album at family Christmas dinner while my loved ones are unawares.

Oh, what to say about this man...

First: HOT.

He needed to be my first post for Hot Guy of the Month because I have been in love with him for, like, 9 billion years. Okay 10 years, but that feels like a long time when staring at that face.

I know that he is sometimes considered a controversial celebrity crush, but i think he has a very Grecian statue look about him. First of all, his height alone...this man is 6' 3" (1.89 cm). In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as you can see in the picture above, he looks like he's wearing eyeliner, and I do have to brace myself on the wall every time I think about this iconic look. I am partial to his long hair, I think it frames his face perfectly and matches his longer facial features. I also think that his voice matches those facial features, it would be the exact voice you'd expect when he opens that gorgeous maw.

Now, everyone brace yourselves. Click that seatbelt in. Grab your towels. I left his best feature for last and we all need to be ready.

His nose...his NOSE. That nose is the most jaw-dropping thing I have ever seen in my life. My eyes first fell upon that nose in 2015 when he took off the Kylo Ren helmet in The Force Awakens, his hair cascading out from the dark brim, and I was immediately transfixed. I really could go on for days about his nose, because I mean, come on, but that's all I'll say for now.
