Actually, I've been a big fan of Deep Sea for a long time. The idea for this OC/canon came to me about four months ago, when I first discovered the fandom for this movie. I don't have that many drawings of these two yet, but I'm definitely going to make more soon. I really love Nanhe! That guy deserves some happiness after everything he went through in the movie😭❤

I actually posted these arts on TikTok recently, but not many people from the fandom ended up seeing them. The algorithm is such a weird thing. I am very sad that it is not popular, because in my opinion it deserves much more attention. Despite everything, at first I really liked the pair of Hippo and Daphne, and I thought I would draw them too. They were really cute when they got out of the cave together. But in the subsequent episodes, their dynamics changed. Daphne is too demanding of Hippo and puts too much pressure on him. My sweet boy deserves more care and tenderness, so he deserves a more comfortable partner
