At the moment, I’m lost in the enchanting worlds of my two current stories: Gelphie and Cynthiana. My journey with Wicked began many moons ago, back when it first graced the stage and captured the hearts of theater lovers everywhere! Can you believe it? I was just an impressionable seventh grader, soaking in every note and lyric like it was the essence of life itself! Middle school was a whirlwind of creativity—I was deeply immersed in the thrilling chaos of theater productions and harmonious choir practices. Wicked felt like a soundtrack to my formative years, echoing through the hallways and classrooms of my life. It was literally everywhere—every corner you turned, you would hear those unforgettable tunes. And I, completely enamored, could sing along to every single song right from the start! My obsession blossomed like the most vibrant flower in a sunlit garden!
The magical moment I had been dreaming of arrived in 2005—the first time I watched the stage show. It was a spellbinding experience that forever changed my perspective on storytelling. From that day forward, I have been captivated—hooked, really! It’s been a love affair that has lasted from day one, growing deeper and richer over the years. I’ve weathered the long, winding road of hopeful anticipation for a movie adaptation, hearing whispers about “a movie’s coming!” for what felt like an eternity. And then, at last, it happened! The release felt like a grand homecoming, and I fell straight back into my beloved Wicked universe like a long-lost friend reuniting with a cherished memory!
It’s difficult to convey just how exhilarating this phase has been! I’ve become an ardent spectator, eagerly following every little tidbit of news and every press event like a devoted fan on a mission. There’s something electrifying about the chemistry in Cynthiana and Gelphie that simply blows my mind—it's off the charts!
