“I still can’t believe those two had a kid before us,” Bow marveled aloud to Glimmer as they watched the scruffy-looking magicat child gather up their toys for the game they’d been developing.

Finn had only been at Bright Moon for a few months, but it seemed like they’d already more than made themselves comfortable. It was quite the stark contrast from when Catra and Adora had first brought the child in from the forest. The couple could hardly believe there was a time when Finn had insisted on hiding under the furniture, only being coaxed out by the promise of food; now they seemed to all but demand attention unless they had their mind on something else.

Glimmer smirked a little at her husband’s words. “Yeah, well,” she began, leaning back slightly in the cushioned chair she was sitting in. “They did kinda cheat, so I don’t know if we should really count it.”

Considering how competitive their friends could be, Glimmer almost had to wonder if it really was a coincidence that the two of them had found Finn mere weeks after learning that she and Bow were expecting their first child. But, she decided not to think much of it, mostly because the kid was pretty cute – not surprising considering they were basically just a giant kitten, acting even more like one than Catra tended to.

Hey, remember my post about an SPOP version of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice? I wrote it!

Uncle Sea Hawk is back! This time he’s reading the children of the Super Pal Trio a tale of epic ROMANCE and ADVENTURE, the classic love story between Adorabeth Boomnets and Fitzmeowmoew Catsy.

Did I finish my first fic? I think I did.  A super late entry to @i-just-love-spop‘s @glimbow-week-2020

I wish I had an excuse as to why it is so late but better late than never I guess.

“It’s just my dads.” Bow said rolling back over to face Glimmer.

“I wonder what’s going on?” Glimmer asked, relaxing back into the pillows.

“Only one way to find out. Did you wanna talk to them too?”

“No. My epic bed head is only for a select few.”

“Are you sure?” Bow said flipping the tracker pad around to face Glimmer. “You know my dads love you. They won’t care.” Glimmer responded by pulling the covers over her head. Bow laughed at her bashfulness.

I saw a post on here that was like, “Where are all the modern AU Glimbow fics?”

And I was like, “Oh, you want a modern AU fic where Catra is Glimmer’s literal cat and Adora is Bow’s golden retriever and they all meet cutely?”

And that person probably doesn’t follow me but if they did they would be like, “What? Why would anyone want that?”

But it was too late for them, reader, for I had already run off, cackling, my pointless fluff fic held aloft triumphantly!

Glimbow Week 

In what started as a joke and become kind of personal challenge, I wrote an angsty and a fluffy fic (which translated into a long and short fic) for each prompt. Most of them came out as Fluff and.. fluff with some drama but I tried. 

🐇 = Fluff

🥺 = Angst

😅 = Mostly still fluff, ends happily but there’s a little drama mixed in

Prompt: Memory / Childhood

🐇 Bow tries to get Glimmer to remember the ridiculous names of all his siblings. (Post Canon)

😅 Glowing Up: The Princess and The Pirate (Friendship / Fluff / Adventure) - The origin story for how Bow and Glimmer met!

Prompt: Injury

🐇 Bow patches Glimmer up after she gets injured on a mission. (Missing Scene)

🥺 Save the Archer (Angst / Action / Romance) - Save the Cat goes wrong. Glimmer gets left behind.

😅 Kowl Jr. (Fluff with a wee bit of Angst/Romance) - Bow and Glimmer are called to investigate reports of poachers in the Whispering Woods and find a creature long thought extinct.

In Our Bedroom After the War

When the war is over, Glimmer and Bow take some much-needed rest in her old room. There are some things they still need to heal. There are some other *things* they really want to do. But they just fought the battle of a lifetime, and they are so very tired. Or: 

Tired Glimbow get half dressed in PJs and cuddle while watching the stars.

In one reality, Hordak’s right hand was desperate for the validation of her superiors. She would do anything to earn his respect, his trust, because in a twisted way, that must mean she’d earned his love, too. She batted him around, sure, insulted him, but there was always a part of her that needed, needed his approval.

In another reality, his corpse hit the floor.

“Force Captain Grizzlor,” Glimmer said, nudging Hordak’s body with the toe of her boot as she climbed the metal steps, golden circles interspersed where the Fright Zone’s initial, floating architecture had once hovered, “inform the others that there’s a new top dog in charge.”
