This photo was taken on our last full day in Spain, on a beach just north of Valencia. In our first week back, we packed up yet again and moved into a new place in Bloomington. Our transition back has been emotional, exhausting, exhilarating, and probably at least several other words that begin with E. At times, the stress has been overwhelming, and I haven't always handled it well. @greenandblueeyed has put up with so many of my shenanigans through it all, including a few times she really shouldn't have. I've been stressed and exhausted, I've felt embarrassed and tiny, often all at the same time, bringing out some less than savory qualities. But she's stayed by my side, for whatever reason, and I can't express my gratitude enough.
