sometimes i get so sad about the things i’ve lost but recently i’ve been trying to frame it as, how beautiful i could care about someone so much? how lovely we spoke tirelessly and never got bored? how cute that we just used to ask about each others day and genuinely care? and then that makes me feel less numb. it makes me feel human and, like it is beautiful that you can share such experiences w others. and just how lovely it is!

romanticize your life. i cannot stress this enough. use scented shower gel and shampoo, so you look forward to showers. go on walks and see how pretty the sky looks. notice the wildflowers on the roadside as you drive. light a candle when you get home to make your room smell good. notice & appreciate the little things in life. it won't cure your mental illness, but it'll make it easier to exist in this world.
