I cooked with this (ignoring the fact that's it's 4:15 am for me at the time of posting)
Headcanon time!! (But what I like to think are his favourite drinks)
- (at work) pure black coffee, this man needs caffeine
- (off work) probably tea, idk why but probably something kinda sweet, with a slice of lemon (don't question why it's so specific)
- (Alcoholic) Whiskey

Wake up, go to work, go home, sleep repeat wake up, go to work, fall asleep in your office repeat, wake up, go to work, go home sleep repeat. Did I forget anything?
I like to believe Gears writes down anything important that happened in a day since he tends to forget a lot of stuff from his time working (yk going trough the motions mechanically and what not) Also i apologise for not putting it exactly on day 2 it took a few hours for my phone to save the art so yeah

I wanted to rest and not draw for a bit buuuuuuuuut Gears.
Also, I wanted to try something more odd looking ? I somehow don't draw a lot of eerie stuff on this blog... made for my scp art... Which is a collaborativer horror story.
Anyhow here's my beloved man with rumors of being a robot ♥

I'll also add one or two headcannons alongside the drawing :>
- he has quite a few piercings, though they're usually hidden or he's not wearing them.
- his music taste involves rock, metal and punk (though he favours industrial metal)
What is this thing we call the self?
What makes you, you. Is it the body, the brain? That surely cannot be it as none of those we're meant to belong to me. Does that make me a result of the enviroment I grew up in? Am i just a combination of every unfortunate eveniment that lead up to my "birth"? Now if that is true of course I cannot be perfect as there is no way to recreate someone else childhood decades later. I'll go with that as an answer it seems to make my brain not drown in the thought of it.

To celebrate the upcoming event of Dr. Gears' birthday which occurs on August, 18th, I decided to bundle up this small challenge of fanworks for the folks of SCP-tumblr to participate in together with myself.
Basically, #drgearsweek2026 is your typical "week of [character]-related fanworks" challenge with no specific tweaks to it. So, if we speak of any sort of "guidelines", it's simple:
All forms of fanworks are welcome: fanarts, fanfics, even something as little as headcanons ramble is accepted if it lands well into the day's theme.
Prompts can be interpreted however you please as they're meant to serve solely as inspiration.
You don't have to post for all seven days to contribute, you can just choose a few days of your liking and participate during them. Or merge them all into one giant artwork for the last day, why not?
And, of course, just have some darn fun, alright?
