a sigh slowly pushes itself from her lungs,

                 ❛  sorry╼ i mean, you know that isn’t what i meant. i just want to learn from the best, and everyone said it was you.  ❜

                 ❛  i’m asking you. you can be a real teacher. i don’t wanna learn from some mediocre hack job.  ❜

The glass of wine in her hand was barely touched when she sets it down on top of a tray from a waiter passing by. The little noble children threw pieces of food at the back of his head and staining his perfectly unwrinkled uniform; she ADMIRES the patience he has, not many would have taken this kind of behavior too kindly. She began to make a stride towards him now with her head held up high and hands to her back, gently shooing the children away that were bothering him when she finally stood next to him.

Upon further inspection, she realized he’s dressed differently than the other guards standing by, while the rest were don all in green and gold linings, his was black with silver linings. For a moment, she savor the silence between them as they both watch the party guests slowly LOSING themselves to the rich wine.

“You got a little something on there,” she informed him, giving him a quick glance and noticing a piece of meat was resting on his shoulder before she decided to remove the piece of morsel on her own when it began to BOTHER her too much, shoving it into some poor noble’s hand who’s already too drunk to notice what is happening to his surroundings now. 

Of course he was thankful when she came, after all dealing with children while a part of his job, was not really something he could do for a whole hour or so. And while his uniform stain would be rid of later with a bit of magic that cheats. Having it on right now is a pain to bother with, and he wore that uniform with pride which made him question his yesterday self when he decided to wear it to a gala of people who are losing themselves to wine. 

There is a appreciative silence -for him - to accept when the children stop coming, and than probably with  a cleaning disorder or something related to order, she cleans off the meat attached to his shoulder and funnily enough, jabs it into a drunk man hand without too much trouble. He barely even looks away from the mess that was this party. 

a pout, brows furrow ; she stops dead center, waiting for him to quickly change his mind.

 Actually it was the other way around but than again,    he’s not one to brag that much since he hates    going back to that place. Ceasefire be dammed. 

tentatively ; she follows behind him, at first not saying a word, until, taking in a deep breath, she forces herself in front of the glaive ; walking backwards while still keeping her focus on nyx.

                 ❛  so are we celebrating now? you buyin’ both of us a cup noodle? i’m honestly starving here.  ❜
