Gladdy!!!

OK, so remember, when Copia was first teased and introduced, we didn't know him as how we know him now. He was awkward, boastful, and poised to become the new Papa despite (AT THE TIME) not being an Emeritus. When we first got to see him, he was creepy looking and sinister: the first look into what the ministry outside of Imperator and Nihl was even like. In fact, a lot of fans didn't like him at first, seeing him as a sort of antagonist... I was one of those people, (except I did like him, I just agreed on the second part lol.)

Now here comes the old outdated theory part, I remember-- before the YouTube Chapter released detailing how the previous Papas died-- I had a theory that they has been dead, or at the least would be soon. This idea especially applied Papa III as he got dragged off stage suddenly.

In my mind the guilty party was obviously the ministry, and when we were introduced to a brand new character, representative of the ministry, Copia became the most likely candidate for having something to do with the previous Papa's disappearance.

As we got to see more of Copia the theory evolved to adapt, again we didn't know a lot of things, but the central premise stayed the same: Cardinal Copia has more control than he lets on. This part is less valid these days, but I feel it lays out what I feel his character succeeds at: being a force behind the scenes. Almost a comic book villain, you know? Scheming all the while doing really stupid and comical stuff.
