Robert hadn't expected that working with you while dating would include this.

As Robert sat at his desk taking another dispatch call, he noticed you walking from the corner of his eye. He tried to ignore it, sending Flambae and Prism out for the call, hoping the two would have enough synergy to get the job done. He was focused up until he felt a hand on his shoulder. Your hand. Squeezing his shoulder oh so gently.

Robert glanced up at you and gave you a curious look, only for you to just wink at him and leave like nothing happened. Robert huffed out a small laugh, wondering what the hell had just happened. You had just come behind him out of nowhere. It wasn't unusual for you and him to touch, hell, the two of you were dating. But at work things were different. More professional.

And over the next hour, Robert could feel the tension winding through his body like a snake wrapping around its prey as you kept walking by. It was every five minutes, Robert concluded. He'd take a call, dispatch one or two of the Z-team members, and you'd come around to touch him. It started with his shoulders, then the back of his neck, and finally by his ears.

When you came around for the last time, you reached out to brush against Robert's ear. Robert reached out to grab your hand, giving you a pointed and heated stare. "You know what you're doing, you tease." He said, his grip tight enough to keep you close without hurting you. You could only grin, watching as Robert's restraint was being pushed. "I don't know what you're talking about." You responded giving Robert an innocent smile. His eye twitched.

It didn't take long for Robert to take off his headset and tell the team they were taking an unexpected break. He held onto your hand and got up, dragging you to a more secluded part of the office to show you just how much you'd distracted him.

Bob turned himself side to side in front of the mirror. He grimaced slightly as he raked over his own form in the tight spandex suit. "Do I look alright in this?" Bob asked, turning back to look at you as you sat on his bed. You gave Bob a small smile. "I do, I think you look better in it with your natural hair." You said with a small grin as Bob turned back to the mirror. He ran a hand through the dark brunette strands. "Really? I feel weird wearing this again." Bob had a small hint of self deprocation in his tone.

You got up from his bed, turning him towards you and adjusting the suits collar and cape. Bob stood still, just watching your face as you adjusted his suit. He thought you looked really good. "There. Now you look better." You smiled, taking a step back and looking Bob over. Bob returned the smile, turning back to the mirror. "This is so weird." He said, adjusting the cuffs around his forearm.

"Yeah, it will be. It's been almost a year since you've worn it. Still fits you really well, though." You told him, standing at Bob's side. He gave you a look through the mirror. "I don't know why Valentina was so persistent in making me wear it again. It's really tight." Bob complained, pulling slightly at the suits fabric. You gave him a sympathetic look before smoothing out the area he'd pulled at. "It's because she wants you to look like a hero. And honestly, you look really good in it." You replied, looking at up him. He gave you a small smile. "You're just saying that so I feel better." Bob glanced back at the mirror.

"I'm not. Well, a little. But that's cause I'm your partner and I want you to feel good while looking good. But I'm being honest, I promise." You took his hand, thumbing over his knuckles. Bob looked back at you again, this time his smile grew and he took a step closer to you. "Thank you." He replied, pulling you into a hug and resting his head on yours. You returned the hug and rested your head on his shoulder. "You're welcome."
