Mirai Nagasu lands a beautiful, fully-rotated triple axel in practice prior to the 2017 US Figure Skating Championships. 

Okay so I know I’ve talked about this a lot but I’m gonna do it again. Because I have been absolutely in love with this performance for months, wayyyy before I knew anything at all about the competitive skating world. The combination of the music, the choreography, and the outrageous skill of these two athletes makes this some of the most moving dancing I’ve ever seen, on or off the ice. I find myself coming back to watch it again all the time. It’s magical.
