If you had made very public mistake in something would you rather have someone

a.) ignore it (though it is likely that they would cringe every time they see it/ more people would continue to notice)

I recently realized that I was being hypocritical about this question, you see. I would rather have someone quietly tell me, but I always ignore it (because I’m trying to be polite) and repeatedly cringe when I see other peoples errors.

There’s been another death in my family, from cancer this time, and the aftermath is causing a lot of stress - people never seem to do the decent thing when there’s a funeral to plan and there are kids caught in the middle and accusations being flung, and just - a lot of stress. I don’t know how much it will affect *me* compared to others in the family, but I mean to try to still crank out as much of my IOU’s as I can. That said - I might have to go AWOL for a couple days here or there for funeral travelling or helping family/the kids.

Please, guys, I could do with encouragement - I’ve been to far too many funerals lately :(

Okay so under the line ((apparently where is my cut)) I tackle some Aywas related things that have been bothering me and seem to be bothering some other users too. Purely conversational and my feelings about some of it. Also some joking/exaggeration. Hopefully people can tell where I’m ribbing things If not I’m really sorry, I’m not trying to be an asshole I’m trying to make light of some things that are bothering me and look to only be getting worse if anything.

Real people make your babies. Real people. That means don’t be a douche about it. Also means they aren’t perfect, they can make mistakes. Still don’t be a douche about it. HOWEVER I fail to see how talking about offspring constructively is bad either. IDK, I guess I’m naive. No idea.

IDK what’s going on but breedings are getting slower and slower. I know real people do them and upload them, but it seems like breeding times are getting longer and longer. Nothing can be done I guess.

Now don’t get me wrong, I have mad respect for the artist((s)) but I don’t think there are enough sometimes IMHO. That leads me to…

HBC though, omfg this is the most personal thing right here to me. I was under the impression the times would be less after they cut the baby # not more. They don’t even sell them anymore after coming out with the shiny USD shop item to add an extra baby.I’m not sure why the site is so convinced it’s not a long wait time on them, but it is. My HBC breed is almost to the actual gestation time of a real live baby. x3 Honestly only miffed about 2 things, the impression being given nerfing would help the queues and the fact the site doesn’t see anything wrong with the HBC times. It’s 1 baby unless the user shells out $20 for the add on, the site doesn’t even do married pair babies. It’s not like they’re much cheaper than a BC too and you have a base 50/50 shot of 2 babies. And Greater Fert Potions aren’t even that bad, not a lot of BP really and much cheaper for sure than the holiday version.

Actually I wonder how much that contributed to the current BC wait tbh. Unless you are going for GEP, which is less than a month wait or so for those to come back.

Also glad we’re working on adventure and slashbot stuff but to the point I’m a bit skeptical after all the times it started and was dropped so yeah…Believe when I see.

Can someone please explain these two features of the site to me? I’ve never tried uploading a custom pet before and have only a few simple breedings with site pets. It’s all just so confusing @-@ 

Whenever I try to upload a custom pet, I got messages like “xxx is not a valid file”. Or the page just freezes for some reason while the rest of the site loads just fine. All I did was download the PSD onto my laptop and upload it with the correct custom maker…?

How does the pet designs forum work? What are colorists anyway? How does silver species work? Where do I find someone to do edits? 

Do all breedings need the parents’ PSD attached? Or is it just certain breeding coins? I’ve only bred site pets before. Does that mean I can’t breed the pets I don’t have their PSD? 

I’ve read through all those KB articles and guides on the site, but I still don’t get how it works. Sorry if I’m being ignorant and asking so many questions, and I don’t really want to ask openly because I would seem like such a noob. XD

Is it possible to change/add things about a SBC baby if you’re gonna upload it with silver crumbs? And not the sketch pen. Was a bit curious and don’t know if anyone can answer this. xD I kind of assume so but I dunno…

It might be better to run it by staff first as I don’t think they would want you to try and circumvent the current founding rules by utilizing the sketch for crumbs and then trying to found a species that has many changes based on the crumbs you submitted.

So, if you were playing a virtual pet sim, would you be down for having a dominant and recessive allele system or would you rather it have a more traditional marking inheritance system where there’s a set percentage of how likely it is for the marking to pass?

Like…the GCC deal is for one (1) edited design, sure yes, got it, and you even get the rights, but does that mean that people who get edited fauxes out of the GCC deal can color up four more and turn them in to the Faux Box to get a Fox in the Box?

it feels like there’s so much crap staff just ignores, and then litwick comes along and acts like a toddler and then they pay attention??? and it makes me wonder if i should just act that way and maybe they’d care suddenly about all the things they’ve been ignoring?? maybe that’s the only way to get their attention?? 

like, how is it ok to ignore slashbots for years???? should i start a tantrum about that if i want anyone to care? i’m honestly not gonna even bring up all the other things on my mind because i just want THAT ONE THING ADDRESSED, FINALLY, if we could get a fucking answer on that one thing. i’d maybe be happy. 

I miss slashbot events. Right now we only have Valentine, Easter, Halloween and Christmas, no other events. We haven’t had a new raw pet in ages. We had no Scavenger Hunt, for me the biggest and best event there is on Aywas and my personal reason to keep playing.

As bad as it would be to have nothing done its frustrating beyond words to half it half done. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do exactly. None of the Slashbot account titles fit even remotely, only Eri has access to the PM with all the proof, and I am not screenshotting what, 1-2 years worth of PMs. And of course Slashbot related PMs are being ignored! I do not fault Eri for that given how many PMs she must receive a day, but this isn’t a slot normal case :/ My event was never finished!

I’m nearing the Handheld World from referrals and I want so badly to do a fundraising event for the flying foxes in Australia. Its all I can do to help them. But I don’t know why I let myself plan things and get excited. Its never going to happen. That referral prize is worthless.
