in the beginning there was no comic specific look for valentine and spelldon hadnt appeared in any media so i got to give my take on both these cutieful mansters!! i was anxious bc i knew the fans were waiting to see spelldon for sooo many years now...

spelldon was embraced so quickly - it truly warmed my heart!! 🩷 his design is very personal to me. as a kid i LOVED fashion dolls. altho i was too poor to collect much, i usually didn't see dolls that looked like me in the store. so my one wish was for ppl to feel seen by the existence of these characters. for people to go "hey, they look like me!" to say now that i got to be part of this inclawnic couple's long journey is one of my proudest achievements 🙏🏽
