I was thinking of this scene in the movie when hinata said toneri was welcome on earth, like after he kidnapped hanabi and took hanabi eyes almost crashed the moon into earth, tried to get hinata to force marrying I highly doubt he would be welcome, 💀 in my opinion if you disagree that fine just keep that opinion yourself, but this when saw this scenes I was like no he wouldn't and forgiving your sister kidnapper who took her eyes * tries to marry you, crash the moon into the earth, was dumb move, I mean, I doubt hanabi would forgive and welcome the person who took her eyes and kidnapped her , I doubt the kage and shinobi alliance would welcoming after dealing with meteor, and. Why it Felt OOC (The Counter-Argument)
Scale of Threat: Toneri was about to destroy the planet and kill every person on it, which is arguably a larger scale than individual antagonists like Zabuza or even Pain.
Lack of Consequence: The ease with which Toneri accepted his "lonely life" punishment and the lack of a proper, severe consequence made it feel, for some, that Naruto was being naive, a common criticism of his character after the Pain arc.
I know The "Lonely" Factor: Toneri was isolated on the moon for his entire life without social interaction. Naruto, having experienced extreme loneliness as a child, is more likely to show empathy toward someone who acts out of a desperate, twisted need for companionship.
