Oh god I’ve been inactive for so long I’m not dead. I made this Animal Crossing bell bag, and it’s great for holding stones, dice, spare change, or any small trinkets that need a home!
Available at my Etsy shop: HERE
Accidentally posted on my main blog first, but I made this thing! Check it out!
I need ideas for cute animals to crochet, go
Of course I want to organize ALL of my yarn when it’s nearly midnight and I’m not even living in the place where said organization would be necessary.
I made a pizza pillow! I still need to mess with the pattern but I think the first try turned out pretty well. I made it as a gift for a friend, but I'll probably make them available for sale soon too.
These bags represent my growth as an artist. They are filled with my projects over the past few years - the hats, scarves, arm warmers, pouches, etc. that I’d intended to sell. Now, they’re all being donated.
To me, choosing to clear out almost my entire inventory (save for only a few things) is a way for me to say, “I’ve improved, and I can do better now.” Everything in these bags is of fine quality, and all of it was made with care, but most of it was made in the early stages of my learning - and I’ve learned so much since my first craft show two years ago. I’ve learned my audience, my skills, and my preferences with creating.
This is why I’m starting fresh, choosing a new audience and new venues, and choosing to create whatever I want. If it’s not made to sell, it’s being either gifted or donated. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and that’s why I’m sharing this with all of you.

I swear, I need at least two of the same size crochet hooks at all times because one is always lost.
Me, trying to find a particular color of yarn:
*picks up yarn*
*can’t tell if black or dark blue*
*smells yarn*
There is nothing more difficult than trying to replicate something you did once without a pattern.
I really need to get one of those mannequin heads. And a real mannequin. Downsides of making clothes and having NOWHERE to put the finished products to take photos....
Even though you can’t really see it here, I’ve been making some progress on my crochet endeavors! I finished the Yukine hat fully (pictures forthcoming) and my mum’s poncho (I might see if I can get a picture of her wearing it, but that’s unlikely...). And as it is, I’m still working on the other stuff and creating various fandom things. I’m trying to get ideas for more, but it’s hard to find the patience and will to do it around work. xD;;

An in progress picture of my Yukine hat! It's not quite finished - I still need to add the pom poms - but I think the hat itself came out quite nicely! I don't have a pattern, since the entire process consisted of winging it and I just made it up as I went along. :P
After about three years of being asked, I’ve finally started making the poncho my mum’s been asking for. It hasn’t been too difficult so far, and this is the first half!
Materials: Size J/10 - 6.00mm hook Aran fleck Red Heart worsted weight yarn
Pattern is here
