truly i do think Rebels is Filoni Wars at its best because he was just doing so much crazy shit and it was all somehow working? like, what do you mean he killed every life form on geonosis. and made up whole new forms of the force. and wrote an interspecies gay couple with a lowkey questionable backstory who then go onto get a korrasamiesque ending when the series finishes. and you watch these episodes and go "yeah no i'm with you dave i'm following i'm picking up what you're putting down". it's incredible.
