You sighed, bracing for the walk of shame to get it, annoyed at yourself for wasting time on thinking about your weirdly hot colleague when the clear “ding!” pulled you back into reality.

You chuckled at that. “I don't know, you're the first one I met.” You both giggled then, holding onto the vending machine for support. “Alright,” you chuckled once more before turning to go, “I'll go secure a table to finally eat my lunch. You can join if you wanna!” Dex nodded as you left, smiling to himself and feeling his face grow warmer each second.

You sat at the break room table, unpacking the sandwich and paused as the thought occurred to you. Did you just flirt with your coworker? And most importantly, did he just flirt back?
