I can understand coming to that conclusion. There’s some excellent breakdowns of why Jax is a trans woman, I recommend “Jax is a Woman” by Almond Sikarii on YouTube. It was made before The Last Act so it’s spoiler free.

To summarize the ‘theory’ (though it’s strongly backed by evidence): Gooseworx is a trans woman. She has stated that Jax is her ‘self-insert’. Multiple pieces of the show can be used as evidence of Jax being a trans woman. I won’t go over them and instead state why Jax being a transgender man would be… very poor taste.

The most monetized moment of the series is Jax in the maid outfit. If that was an honest mistake that was addressed later on as not ok, I could see the trans man perspective. Instead several items of merch based on maid outfit Jax has been made. Do you think it’d be ok for a transfem creator to create a transmasc character, put him in an outfit that purposely causes him agony, then made fun of it and sold the image off online? I ask you use context clues surrounding the media you watch and not the reactionary, surface level impression you first observe.
