on the note of doctors fucking up, most recent in my experience was when they did my kidney biopsy they "forgot" to log a calming med for me despite me asking literally every single step of the way and every new personnel i spoke to that day but i made enough noise they eventually gave me something late BUT then they started the surgery early making it only kicked in after the whole horrible ordeal so i was lying in the bed after the fact as calmly angry as ive ever been
#my gf said theres a spot where the needle went in ): you can still see it ): huge fucking needle#they gave me three consecutive numbing shots beforehand so i only felt pressure and nerve-burning sensations#but the sound inside my body was like when you core an apple. and the THUNK of the snips going off inside me i could feel in my throat#also i said ''that day'' in the post but i just remembered i was asking everyone so fucking early i asked the poor scheduler to make a note#i was asking EVERYONE for meds and they still tried to eventually say i was ''too late''
