A Portfolio by Gigi

Realism is difficult guys. So was taking a reference picture for this assignment. I admittedly did not try very hard with the UI of the page itself, sorry to my prof.

Our prof clocked our entire class for being predictable and placing our subject in the center. Woopsie! I'll never do it again I promise.

The final InDesign back cover I'm keeping my eyes only as it was rushed last minute, much like my sketch here.

I ended up drawing an OC from a WIP of mine for this assignment. Ended up looking far more feminine than I wanted, but the faces had less likeness to aliens than my first attempt which shall remain for my eyes only. We were recommend to tie the assignment into our video game mockup from another class for a more cohesive portfolio look.

Not a very impressive sketch but this was a cool way to quickly go through them. I can't find the original artists name of these pieces right now.

I admit I haven't read the book or watched the film but I love Arthurian legend. Kind of sad I had to write and scribble over this to submit this assignment.

"Use an animal if you need an analogy." Laika was the first that came to mind in representing Grace. The values weren't great, but it made for a fun school assignment.
