straight people: I FINALLY KNOW OPPRESSION AND THIS IS THE WORST I’VE EVER FELT THE GAYS WILL PAY FOR THIS

I feel like everything you said just narrows it down and that my input isn’t even necessary. I especially screamed when you mentioned the difference between Touka not wanting to be left behind in part 1 and then she’s left behind and doesn’t even care in this part. She /is/ incredibly passive and that’s why my respect for her has been dwindling. I really don’t care if she wants to contain the emotions she is feeling in order to remain strong but there is a better way of doing it without coming off as not caring, and I’m only saying that she’s coming off as not caring because we’re not getting any internal dialogue. We don’t know what she’s thinking. We can only assume by her actions and facial expressions. That’s literally it. Pre-Aogiri Touka’s motives and actions are the complete opposite of this Touka now. Her character is so watered down that it’s not even good anymore. I never liked Touka but she was most definitely a strong willed character who did have reasoning in the caring actions she has performed. And we knew her reasons. Now she’s just this character with little to no dynamic. And you hit the nail right on the head when you mentioned how everyone is pitching in to make her life better while she’s doing nothing and she was the one who wanted a better life the most. That left me shaking in my boots.
