while im at it i also really love this song about a lady and a selkie who love eachother but the maiden cant go with him back to the sea because she'd obviously drown & the selkie cant stay on land till sunrise or he'll die. so they end up having to figure out a way to be together without 1 of them dying <3

ive been listening to this song everyday it is playing in my head All the time. if you know anything about The Willow Maid it follows a similar story but with a different rightful ending for the man. it is really hauntingly beautiful but tw for implied/mentioned rape
