It seemed like a world away now -- like a million years had passed since the days of their youth. the days of their carefree conversations and laughter - forgetting the harsh world around them because they had each other. but these nights , it seemed his hands wanted to play manic strings and tones rather than the sweet beautiful sounds they once made.

he whispered , staring down at his trembling hands. ' all they produce is ... is madness. ' madness of his broken mind. the episodes were less oncoming these days as nicolas' mind tried to heal itself. but his maker's own melancholy brought nicolas to attention , bright ambers looking at lestat before he rose - making his way over to him.

Like I said, life hasn't been kind to me. I lost my partner's father last month ( he was like my own father and i loved him so so so much ). I lost my job due to new management.
