I’ve been looking for these little precious moments featuring the both of them as well, but sadly you’ve pointed out pretty much all of them. Still, there are more. The first is Extraordinary X-men #8, when Illyana takes her pupil Sapna to see the good Doctor. He’s the sweetest as usual.

There’s also the same quick moment in Civil War II where the most powerful sorcerers come together to cast a huge spell. You can find it in Civil War II #1 and New Avengers Vol. 4 #12.

Finally, there’s one last moment in Doctor Strange v4 when Empirikul nearly killed all the magic along with the users, but I guess you’ve already read this one, right?

Their relationship has started precisely due to the AvX event, so there are few moments starring them yet. However, it seems to me that Stephen trusts Illyana deeply, mostly when the future shows her as the next sorcerer supreme, which makes my heart very warm.

It’s hard indeed for them to share panels, especially now that the mutants are facing extinction (again ughhh), so she’s sticking with her teammates for a while. Yet, I can’t help but hope that they will meet soon. If I grow very happy when Stephen makes a surprise cameo, I get twice as happy when they interact. It’s the utmost joy for me as a reader. And to be honest, he’s her dad and no one will convince me otherwise.
