How I’ve been studying for university exams
Disclaimer: I am not an expert and this is just what has worked for me in the past year.
During the semester:
-Show up to your lectures (also the ones with no mandatory attendance)!
-Take notes during lecture (especially things not on the powerpoint). This doesn’t have to be detailed (yet).
-Do the mandatory readings when necessary. (I often only do this before the exam…)
In the weeks before the exam:
-Make a study plan so you don’t get super overwhelmed in the last few days. Plan in some buffer days if you procrastinate.
-I personally use notion to make a page with questions that I use like cue cards:
I use the toggle feature to hide the answer, so I can test if I know it. I use my notes, the powerpoints and readings to formulate these.
-Regularly review what you have studied so far!
-I also love to explain interesting concepts to my friends/family. They often ask questions that make me reflect more.
-Look at past exam questions!! Uni professors often use old questions.
-Be aware of how the exam is structured. What will your stragy be?
Go on and pass with flying colors!

time blocking method
Hi all, this is werelivingarts, a new post about time management method: TIME BLOCKING! Time blocking allows you to divide your day into big blocks and helps you to complete similar tasks in one-go without any interruptions!
You can do your time blocking on:
Google Calendar (simple and easy to use)
Plan (drag your to-do list and organize them in blocks)
TickTick Premium (offer pomodoro timer)
Hope you find this helpful! ⭐️
very unsurprisingly, the only thing holding me sane rn: my planner
