Crying /hj ( some slight spoilers for deltarune )
I can’t finish the final boss in deltarune chapter 5… i had to skip the last secret boss and “you know who” because it was so damn hard.
My joints are so bad, even just walking around in games can be really rough.
I need an “assisted mode” so badly :(
So much pressing and holding and spamming buttons in this chapter it genuinely hurts so much.
My timing is also shit, one of the reasons for why is how stiff my hands are.
Toby please ;-; think of the disabled folks and the plebs <3 people who suck butt at video games deserve to have a chance to progress the game they bought.
(I was already bad at video games but becoming physically disabled has made it so much harder)
Thank uu
Update! I have beaten everyone except Mr. G
I’d like to talk about each one:
Chapter 5
The hardest part of the Ch5 secret boss was not the bombs, it was the very last “attack” The fast inputs needed to make it to the next dot are very specific and unforgiving. My hands hurt and struggled with this one the most.
The regular boss was the repetitive inputs or sustained inputs (tapping or holding down the button)
Chapter 4
The regular boss was actually very easy on my hands i liked this one!
The secret boss had another “move fast or you die” mechanic there was also a lot of directional controls but i found that wasn’t super hard on my hands i just couldn’t react fast enough. For the parry I couldn’t figure out the timing at all.
Luckily this secret boss’s items show up in the next chapter regardless of whether or not you defeat him.

Chapter 3
The Secret boss in this one only took me a few hours to get, a lot of it was learning to make small movements and to not panic
The boss in this one was fun for me! i think i won it in 1-3 tries
The second secret boss took multiple nearly full days for me to finally defeat (most of those hours were pre-patch so it was extra difficult.) the real strain on my hands was the amount of times I had to redo the fight.

Chapter 2
The secret boss in this one was difficult because of the repetitive fast button mashing or button holding needed. luckily dodging the attacks weren’t the worst thing and it just ment i had to do extra rounds.
The first half of the regular boss was fine, not my favorite but okay, the second half was fun, not enough button mashing to be hard on my hands so thats good!

Chapter 1
The secret boss took me forever when It was the only chapter out, it was a steep learning curve, I feel like this secret boss’s items has the biggest skill gap between the chapter’s regular roaming enemies and the secret boss. The thing that helped me in the end was swapping to a larger screen ( tv ) i’m not sure why but it definitely felt easier!
The regular boss of this one is pretty easy but there are very cool mechanics used in the battle i definitely liked it a lot when it first came out but since being spoiled with the other chapters this boss honestly seems underpowered.
