Why I hate TMNT 2012 April
In the episode, “A Foot Too Big” Donnie is finally ready to let April go. This can be picked up from dialogue near the end of the episode.
Donnie: “I just wanted to let you know I won’t be bothering you with music boxes anymore. I get it now. Donnie is to April as Bigfoot is to Donnie. I’m just a mutant.”
This is a good message to be telling the viewers for many different reasons.
Sometimes, no matter how much you want something, you have to let it go. This is an important and realistic lesson. One that can be applied to real life.
Donnie learns that he was acting in a way that was making April uncomfortable and finally realizes it after being faced with the same attitude from Bigfoot.
He’s ready to walk away when April does something completely Psychotic.
“You’re not just any mutant. You’re my mutant.”
This, my friends is the move of someone who knows EXACTLY what they’re doing.
If April didn’t know that she was playing with Donnie’s heart before, she DEFINITELY knows it now.
The fact that she had the audacity to do this though just goes to show how awful she is to Donatello.
She basically MANIPULATES him into liking her again!
If you ship Apritello (the 2012 one. Any other version is fine.) I’m sorry but I don’t agree with you on that one. Apritello (2012) is a toxic relationship. April will continue to play with Donatello’s heart until she finally gets bored of it.
