My dad, Jeffry J. Dell, February 21st, 1954 – February 9th, 2022. Today on your first heavenly birthday we pray your soul has come to reach peace. I never would have imagined that you’d be gone so suddenly and so far away from us. Tomorrow I fly out to bring you and Lola home… having her is to have a piece of you and your happiness, and I treasure that. And it’s no secret to those who really know me that our relationship was strained and distant for a long time, but these last 5 years have made up for that tenfold. So many laughs and jokes were made. Amazing first time experiences and road trips shared. And an endless amount of memories to last a lifetime. I’m devastated you’re gone so soon, but I know this is only a see you later and that you’ll be looking down upon us and your future grandchildren.
