finally finished the updated Guardsman ref sheet for Red, the entire time I was trying to draw this and color it, I had to stop myself from just staring at it since it looks so cool
for powers and abilites in case it isn't clear(my handwriting sucks and the text size is too big) are:
Normal form: short term flight from underarm glider wings, ear-piercing screech(only when scared), electrical discharge from paws, cable launchers from wrists.
Spliced form: Enhanced strength and speed and agility, controlled screech, enhanced senses, vocal manipulation, electrical discharge from paws, increased bone density(strong bones)
notes: eyes are animated(only for normal form since the lenses aren't present in the spliced form), springs within foot sleeves for skyjumps, legs switch from plantigrade to digitigrade when transforming into spliced form, the suit is designed to stretch and expand while opening to let out some fur, markings on the back will stretch a little .
lore time: during Guardsman's battle with Predator, he spliced himself with additional red panda DNA giving him a temporary enhanced form, after the battle he was able to produce a cure for himself from the lab equipment and it worked in reverting him back to normal, or so he thought, instead the altered form he became was stored inside him as an additional form for him to use but it only manifested at times of strong emotion(fear, anger, etc) slowly he realized that it wasn't gone but still inside him and everytime he turned he went feral shortly afterwards, fearing that he was a monster he tried to control it but found Dr Siberius(Predator's assistant) and asked for help in riding himself of it only to find out that this was all happening because the base of all splicers is feral wolf DNA, armed with this knowledge he created a splicer from the lab once again and removed the wolf DNA from his system giving him full control over his spliced form as well as the ability to fully control his screech,
I know it's a bit to swallow but maybe I'll start making lore posts and giving a more comprehensive overview of the whole story
also side note, the way the face tufts are on the normal form is actually how they're supposed to be drawn, I need to correct that on Red's normal ref sheet
