Guy nodded as he floated up and a way in sync with John’s flight. He willed construct that looked like an old dispatch radio, just bright and green. “Ganthet? Hey Salaak? Anyone C’mon this is Guy Gardner here Pick up already!” he called out over the channel that the ring created.  “This is Salaak Gardner, what do you want” came the annoyed voice of the Lantern who seemed to always be the Gaurdian’s lapdog and secretary.  “Hey, John and me are coming in, I need to talk to someone because we’ve got an issue with a Red Ring. Honestly I’d prefer it to be Ganthet” he called back. “…Gaurdian Ganthet is currently meditating, and you expect me to interuppt…what?…FINE…Gardner You and Lantern Stewart will be seen by Ganthet when you arrive” the voice replied before cutting off abruptly.

“Ah you know as well as I do that the little munchkin overlords would have us wait in lines and fill out appointments for days” Guy shrugged and waved off his friend as he let his mind wander. There was something different to this time with the Red ring. He wasn’t overcome with a blinding rage, the beat of his heart was steady, still intense but not racing or threatening to overpower his mind.
