Well I managed to save a thinkpad t61p of mine and made it the best it can be. LCD has been upgraded from 15.4 1280x1024 to 15.4 2560x1600 res LCD. It's a very very rare panel made by LG and was a $1200 extra back in the day for only a select few corporate customers. It has an ssd with the bios mod to allow for Sata 2 speeds, 8gb ddr2 ram, and a 1tb hdd in the swappable optical drive bay. It has two batteries for 12 hours of life. Total cost 160 bucks slowly gathering parts on ebay, beat that any manufacturer just alone on the screen res I now have.

Well look what I found in Rockland today. It's an early year pristine condition RT10 Dodge Viper. Someday I want to own one even if its for a short while. (at Staples)

Apologies for the bad pic but the iPhone wouldn't focus well on this. It's hard to see but it's my first completed fishing rod repair. This is a custom 6.5 ft carbon fiber 6 piece travel rod that is set up to do both spinning and fly reels, the grip area is reversible. I had to thread wrap the reinforcement area where the last section goes. The original wrap and epoxy came off. Not bad could be smoother with the epoxy but I don't mind I'm keeping it where I got a van staal spinning reel and van staal fly reel with it. (at limerock street )
