I visited #Kansas over the past few days & stopped by the cemetery where my grandparents & great-grandparents are buried. In all the years I’ve been to this #cemetery, I’d never seen these beauties in bloom. My grandmother planted these shortly after my great-grandmother passed away over 45 years ago. It’s definitely a weird feeling seeing these gorgeous Peonies, Daffodils & Iris’ thrive all these years later, especially knowing that my grandmother planted them. #flowers #Summer (at El Dorado, Kansas)

I have both the Blending Buds and a Beauty Blender and I must say, I absolutely LOVE our Blending Buds! I decided to share the differences I noticed when our Blending Buds were compared with a Beauty Blender. The quality with our Blending Buds is firmer, denser, and doesn't absorb your foundation quite like the Beauty Blender. Younique truly makes the BEST products and has gone above and beyond everyone's expectations time and time again. On first glance it's easy to see the differences between Younique's Blending Buds and a Beauty Blender. Other than the differences in color and size, the foam used in creating our Blending Buds looks slightly different. Upon further investigation, the Blending Buds are firmer, denser, and bounces back quicker than a Beauty Blender. Little did I know just how much these differences impacted the application process of my BB Flawless Complexion Enhancer (foundation), the touch & feel itself of the Blending Buds (in a good way) and of course the cleaning process. I started noticing changes in the amount of coverage I get when using Blending Buds is so much better than the Beauty Blender. I came to this conclusion after lots of testing and even went as far as using the same amounts of my BB Flawless Complexion Enhancer with both sponges. Every time I noticed the Beauty Blender soaked up more of my foundation and didn't apply it all to my face like I thought it should have. I had to use MORE product to achieve the same results my Blending Buds had. One occasion after seeing my Beauty Blender run out of product - I took my test a step further. I tried using my Beauty Blender on my arm to see if it could deposit anymore product. It didn't. My Blending Buds didn't (and don't) act this way. When washing out my Beauty Blender, my water was dirtier when compared to the water for my Blending Buds. This was proof it had held onto the product I was trying desperately to apply to my face. I couldn't believe how much product was left IN my Beauty Blender that I couldn't get to apply to my face or arm (I tested out another spot other than my face to see if my conclusions were correct as well).
