        [She doesn’t stop moving. Instead                    she goes to twirl Maria.]

    One dance. I haven’t danced with       anyone in a while, so humor me.

      [She sighs through her nose, but rather than       spinning she uses the opportunity to spin       Victoria and pull her back in, taking charge.]

    I’ll lead.

        [She puts her left hand on Maria’s         waist and takes her right hand in hers.         It’s been a while since she danced with         someone, but it’s not like they’re doing the         tango. Just a simple, swaying dance.]

    I’m surprised they don’t teach all spies     to dance. Seems like a good skill to have.

      I know how to dance.       I just prefer not to.

            [Sighing, Maria allows herself to be pulled             close to the other woman so that they can             begin swaying together slowly, and she             raises an eyebrow pointedly at her.]

      ”Not — all of them. And not necessarily        on weekends, either. Just, the general        concept of a day or two just — you, not        the world, because — uh.”

                  Yes, why did he care? Good question.                   Gooood question indeed.

      "Let me. There’re not that many people        that I’d be concerned about. Give me         something to work with.”

            [Rubbing her brow, she sighs through             her nose as she once again looks back             at him.]

            “Aww, that’s so sweet              of you, Maria ! “

           { she all but coos, voice              lathered in honey, until              it isn’t. }

                      “But no, really, thanks.                        The boys were having                        a movie night. Watching                        D      y      s      n      e      i.”

      [Raising a brow, Maris snorts       faintly and tilts her head.]

    It’s a crime to let another woman live without a vibrator.

    [It’s a subtle touch, but unmistakable in it intent.     Benini notices; she sees the subtle change in     his expression. He’s either imagining himself     in the middle of the two of them or reconsidering     pursuing Victoria. She can tell he hasn’t decided     yet, but Victoria’s not giving him the time to make     the wrong decision.]

        I am so sorry Mr. Benini, but this song is—well,         it’s our song. I just have to dance with my—with Maria.

    [Far from subtle, and Maria’s probably going to kill her     for this, but she’s already tugging Maria out onto the dancefloor.]

      [Maria's eyes narrow subtly when the man appears       conflicted, because she can tell exactly what he's       thinking, and it's a good job Victoria starts to drag       her away because she'd have become very tempted       to punch the man.]

            Excuse us.

      [Maria nods at the man, before glaring at the back       of Victoria's head as she's lead towards the dance       floor, and she huffs faintly.]

[Victoria sits next to her.] We could shop online.

    [She closes her eyes slightly     as she lets Maria touch her.]

You didn’t give me an answer.

    [She leans over Maria again.]

I bet you get punched a lot more than you get kissed.

      [She raises an eyebrow slightly,       fingers still tracing the curve of       her spine.]

            Which is an answer in itself.

      [She snorts softly.] 

      ”I don’t know. Some people take         holidays. Not that I expect you         to, but at least do weekends once        in a while.”

                  Not that he did. But he actually had                   some free days. Not by choice, but                   that hardly was the point.

      If I stopped working weekends, that's exactly       when all hell will break loose. Look, Quill, I       have no idea why you''re suddenly concerned       about my health, but there's really no need.
