iâm finally posting after a long while. many things happened while i was gone. i am still working and teaching at the same place :] however the upcoming exam that i was to take to become an official/public teacher in public schools was making me nervous. i found it hard to balance work and studying and there was and are other things i want to do, such as taking a course and learning german. anyways, last week i got a new job offer and went to the interview, not because i thought iâd quit my current job, but i wanted to see what theyâd tell and their conditions. they wanted me to go to the interview despite knowing iâm currently employed. after the interview, i agreed that iâd help them and teach at their school if they needed me. when i got home though, i felt nervous because if i was needed to start there immediately, itâd be a very big workload for me. i talked to some of my friends and mom, i was like what if i canât study enough because of work but i also need to work for firstly financial reasons. iâm 23 years old now and most of the people in my country usually graduate from uni around 25. my mom and friends all told me the same thing, âwhy rush?â and i realized i was in fact rushing things and wanted to do everything at once. my mom said something like âyouâre young and you finished your education younger than many people, so stop rushing. youâre earning money, calm down and enjoy that, spend it and go out and explore.â and my friends also said similar stuff. anyways, all iâm trying to say is iâm young, iâm really lucky to have supportive people around me, i have decided to take things slow this year, do stuff i enjoy, which is working and learning new languages at the moment, and try to find joy in my life, and if i canât find it, try to create it. iâll probably be posting my teaching and language learning process from now on. thank you for reading this monster. and take care everyone :]<3
