I had to get some temporary closure on this before leaving the continent for a couple weeks. It's an update, a postmortem, and a plan all in one.

This is always the best part of any project. I feel so lucky and thankful to be able to work with such a phenomenally impressive cast. ❤️

One perk of working on audio-heavy projects is that you become desensitized to the whole "I hate the sound of my own voice" thing pretty quickly. Still, I can't wait until the every-character-is-me version of this game is stable enough that I can bring in some people to replace me.

Hello, it's been a few weeks since my last entry about Bulwark. Here's what I've been up to.

A key challenge will be making these puzzles readable at a glance, so that players could reasonably be expected to plot out their route before they start moving. It'll be tricky. I think this is what people mean when they say that game development is mostly UI design.

Added lil indicators to show where NPCs are planning to go.

The buildings are baked into the scene, but I can change everything else in Excel.
