Went for a walk with my girl ❤️

It was in summer 2013. 16 year old me and my best friend went out in the woods for our first ever "survival" training (in fact bouth carried around 15-20 kg of stuff we thought we would need 😂) but because of the high day temperature we thought we don't need any sleepingbag or blanket. We built a small shelter and cooked our food on small esbit stoves. At around 10 pm we got to sleep on the ground with no isolation. Second mistake made that day. So around 12 pm I woke up freezing cold my friend was cold either. But then I had the best idea of the day. I got my first aid kit with me and in there was a space blanket. So we took it out and this piece of plastic saved the day. Since then I am always carrying at least one space blanket with me when I am out in the woods:)

New EDC gear. A Real Steel Gerfalcon. Made out of 14C28N Steel, this pice of destruction gives you great sharpness compared with easy resharpening. Also the handle is equipped with G10 on one side for better handling with wet and cold hands. Total length:198mm, blade: 83mm, blade thickness 3,10mm. It is rasor sharp out of the box.

Built a small shelter in my yard ^^ how docyou like it? (Temperatur -5 degree Celsius) sleeping bag: carinthia Brentha wrapped in a US Army bivi bag, Miltec Basha Flecktarn (2,2m x 3,2m), self inflating ISOmatte Nordisk krafla XL 5.0 wrapped in a german army poncho.

Today's topic: glow sticks also called Chen lights;) They come in different shapes, sizes and colors. I love them because they don't need Power cells and they are cheap. You can secure important spots, use them as "boobi traps" (extra gear is needed) or just tu bring some light you can throw anywhere:) I thing Knet are great for survival, prepping and your normal day carry.
