I have 2 maglites now: A 2003 one that has the modern form and an aftermarket LED bulb and rechargeable D-cell batteries, and an older one (maybe 90-91) that has regular D-cells and an incandescent bulb. Basically, the new one is better at being a flashlight and the older one is better at being a bludgeoning club.
