You’re Fucking serious? You don’t even have to buy bras or panties with bogus sales like 4 pairs of undies for $35. Clothing essentials for men’s wardrobes is deadass white and blue button down shirts for they can be dressed up and down, t-shirts to be worn with everything you own (white is preferable or black) and a pair of pants, jeans, shorts, sweats, and a suit. That’s not even $500 if you know how to shop affordably.

First of all it wasn’t that deep. Just because you entertain niggas that dress wack that’s on you. Actual comfortable boxers are $20 (wish I could get a 4 pairs for under $35 deal 😂😂😂). Good pants that fit right and don’t fade after a few washes are $60 minimum. We have multiple different shirt options, if you talking just t-shirts that’s cheap but then we have to buy polos, button downs, dress shirts, suits, ties, dress socks, the list goes on. You conveniently left out the fact that society pressures men into buying name brand clothes/shoes (you just did by saying “decent shoe game”) to avoid being called broke or lame or wack. As somebody who grew up broke all I did was get clowned by men and women about the brands I was wearing. That level of pressure does not happen to women at the same rate admittedly by women. I’ve seen women praised (and rightfully so) for having a thrift shop outfit that cost $10. I’ve seen women I dated buy entire wardrobes at the thrift shop for $60. Go in those same stores and the men’s selections be 2 aisles of nothing anybody’s size or the clothes always got a defect.

Every time a woman say something y’all be so quick to assume that we’ve dated said type of person which I haven’t for ive never been in a relationship before so you talked a lot but you clearly didn’t read the article for it GQ informs the reader that women pay way more by far for designer clothing because we are “known to shop more due to societal pressures and the beauty standards” but go off I guess. The pink tax also exists and as I said we have more pieces of clothing to buy. One bra alone is $55+ so that’s more than your boxers and close to one pair of your jeans. But I need more than one bra. One for work, one for dresses, one for working out, one for bae, well 4 different ones for bae cause want to be cute and have options, etc. And so I might lose or gain weight so might not be able to fit those gotta replace em that adds up and I haven’t shopped yet. Everyone got roasted as a kid for not being designer I did too and I’m a girl like you’re truly wilding. Everyone knows women pay more for clothes it’s nice when we thrift and get deals but our jeans are off the wall expensive also. I have seen jeans on the rack for $88 like what’s your point?
