Subaru Loves to Care is an initiative that strives to bring comfort, warmth, and support to community members battling cancer. Through organizations like Blood Cancer United, and Waterford Place Cancer Resource Center, this mission is made possible. Our team stopped by Waterford to deliver soft blankets and messages of hope written by both customers and staff members. We hope that each blanket and note can touch the lives of our neighbors when they need it most!

This year's Purride Adoption Event at West Suburban Humane Society was filled with mews and good news! In celebration of LGBTQ+ staff and to support critical kitten adoptions, potential adopters received complimentary giveaways and had the unforgettable experience of 40 kittens in one room. With plenty of adoptions, and smiles all around, this was a day of good vibes and an unforgettable impact. 

Thousands gathered in downtown Geneva to attend the highly anticipated Swedish Days festival over the weekend! This beloved tradition celebrates the rich heritage of the Swedish immigrants who settled in the area, allowing locals and visitors alike to learn and connect with the town's history. With a craft beer tent, a carnival, Kids’ Day, nightly entertainment, and a parade, everyone in attendance got to experience some unique summertime fun and create lasting memories. Gerald Subaru of North Aurora is proud to support this wonderful community tradition, and we are already looking forward to next year! The annual LaGrange Pet Parade was one to remember! With the streets lined with countless excited supporters, it was obvious that this community tradition is truly special. A huge shoutout to all the participants, local volunteers, and furry friends who helped bring this spectacular day to life. Caged For a Cause was truly an event to remember! To help raise critical funds and awareness for our incredible partner shelter, West Suburban Humane Society, our very own General Manager, Joe, stepped up and spent his day inside a giant dog cage.

It turned out to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, wagging tails, and an amazing outpouring of support for our furry friends. We want to extend a massive shout out to the team at WSHS for everything they do day in and day out to ensure these animals receive love, care, and a clear path to finding their forever homes! #SubaruLovesPets

The Aurora Area Interfaith Food Pantry's mission is to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry, and our teams at Gerald Subaru of North Aurora and Gerald Subaru of Naperville were honored to be a part of that impact. Together, we assisted in food distribution for hundreds of local families. Working together as a team alongside such a dedicated organization and seeing the direct, positive changes they bring to our community was a deeply meaningful experience that we will never forget. This year’s St. Paddy’s Day 5k was an absolute hit! Runners from all over our community braved the chilly weather and gave it their all to cross the finish line. The heart and talent of A Special Place shone through beautifully during their recent performance of The SpongeBob Musical! This annual production showcases months of hard work and dedication, giving performers with special needs an incredible opportunity to share their skills with the community. So much time and care went into making Night to Shine an unforgettable, meaningful, and welcoming event for everyone who attended. Individuals ages 14 and older with special needs were truly treated like kings and queens, experiencing classic prom staples including a red carpet entrance, limousine rides, flowers, dinner, and an evening filled with dancing and joy! We want to thank Calvary Church for creating a night that celebrates community, connection, and the worth of every individual.
