@drawnonward mentioned something about neil instinctively doing the tenet hand gesture when he’s talking about entropy to the protag and kat, and it’s such a small but significant moment. while it’s definitely not the first time the protag has seen it, this is the first time it’s actually used to explain something, instead of it being just the tenet’s secret sign. i remember someone posting here that it’s how the the sign came to be, that the protag must have recalled this particular time with neil, and established the sign in honor of him.
